A quick and easy recipe for Pea Hummus. Makes a super healthy snack for kids and great for lunch boxes too.

Serves: 8
INGREDIENTS
  • 240g / 8oz cooked chickpeas
  • 200g / 6oz cooked peas
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • water
  • salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Place the chickpeas, peas, lemon juice and garlic in a food processor or blender and blitz until well combined. Add some water to help loosen the mixture to your desired consistency.
  2. Serve immediately or store in a lidded jar or container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
